FinArch Strengthens Risk Management Practice
Ghent – 1 December 2005 - Financial Architects nv (FinArch), leading international provider of the finance resource planning (FRP) platform for the finance industry, today announced that Dr. Dan Oprescu, an established industry expert in the field of Enterprise Risk Management, joined the company as Head of Risk Management Practice.
Dr. Dan Oprescu specialises in risk modelling and management in banking and insurance, with particular application to regulatory issues. He consults for some of the largest banks and insurers in the world, speaks regularly at risk conferences and teaches Risk Analysis and Modelling in Cass Business School, London. His experience covers also securities trading and asset management. Prior to working in the financial industry Dr. Dan Oprescu was a scientist with University College London.
