Vice President Regional Business Development Belgium

Job Description:

The VP Regional Business Development will be responsible for growing the FinArch business and increasing its market share in Belgium. We need a bright, articulated, and aggressive sales executive to sell a suite of software products into the financial industry. He/she will report to the CCO who’s based in Belgium.


Your tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Direct responsibility for the identification, contact, qualification and development of new accounts and expanding existing accounts within an established and defined territory
  • Developing and enhancing relationships with key executives at a “C” level
  • Answering or arranging for the answer of RFI's and RFP's within stipulated timescales and according to stipulated delivery requirements
  • Working with presales consultants and others as deemed necessary to present in-depth demonstrations
  • Making product demonstrations and company presentations
  • Developing and promoting product image and awareness
  • Keeping your management informed at all times of the status by making full use of the CRM tool (SalesForce)
  • Working to achieve agreed goals
  • Generating and closing deals

Professional and Personal skills required:

  • The ideal candidate has experience in selling complex ERP solutions to the financial sector
  • A proven track record for selling complex solutions and services at the “Business Head” and "C" level
  • Understanding of the complexity of sales processes
  • You like working in a creative and interesting atmosphere in an international environment
  • where own initiative and perseverance is fully expected
  • Able to take responsibility for managing your own time in an effective and responsible manner and involve others where necessary
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate and to close deals
  • Proven talent for making effective cold calls to target companies
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills required
  • Excellent understanding of competitive positioning: knowledge of products and services, or similar products of other vendors
  • Flexibility to travel widely in pursuit of objectives
