Financial MIS Specialist
Job Description:
As team lead of the Product Unit MIS you will be responsible for
- The content management
o Detailed focus on the different functional components of the product unit MIS
o Outline the roadmap for this product unit
o Subject Matter Expert role: know the functionality of the product MIS the best. Follow-up (from Development Centre) and support the implementation teams that are using MIS components - The Resource management
o Detailed resource allocation/planning for the product unit MIS
o Daily follow-up of team members (both functional and technical)
o Mentorship and coaching of junior team members
o Watch over the internal and external milestones of the product unit MIS
You will be reporting directly to the line manager of Product Lines Accounting & MIS and will need to work in close collaboration with other product lines and units within the Financial Studio FRP concept like “Foundation”, “Risk and Capital Management” and “Compliance”.
Profile:
- Degree in Economics / Finance / Accounting / Banking
- 5+ years of experience in banking accounting and / or analyst role, within a bank or within a company delivering financial services
- Professional experience in the area of
o management accounting
o profitability calculation for plain vanilla financial products (like loans, money market, deposits, etc.) as well as complex financial products (IRS, Repo Style products, FX Swap, etc.)
o cost allocation
o activity based costing
o budgeting, forecasting and control
o fund transfer pricing
o cost of carry calculation
o funding cost calculation
o net interest income calculation, etc - Knowledge of Basel II, E-Cap, IAS/IFRS is an asset
- Experience in financial software and financial data warehousing is an asset
- Perfect knowledge of English, knowledge of other European languages is an asset
- A good team player, who is eager to learn and to work autonomously in an international environment
