IFRS Academy - August 3, Tawain

From 03 August 2010 at 08:30 to 03 August 2010 at 12:00
Location : Taipei, Taiwan

The rapid adoption of the International  Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)  has created the demand for comprehensive, expert and above all  practical advice. Everyone will agree that it is crucial that financial and  accounting department specialists make  themselves thoroughly familiar with  IFRS and their implementation.

In this respect, IBM Taiwan and FinArch are organising "The IFRS Academy", a practical workshop on IFRS and their application in Taiwan.

    Agenda:

Given the importance of the above mentioned topic, IBM Taiwan in cooperation with FinArch is delighted to host the Academy which provides an ideal platform for financial institutions to discuss IFRS with the independent industry expert and benefit from its in-house expertise to get acquainted with IFRS.

The workshop focuses on the practical implementation of IFRS, and hence provides valuable and practical insight into both the principles and application of IFRS.

The objective is to share our experiences of IFRS adoption in Europe and Asia as well as to provide a forum for the participants to learn from FinArch Subject matter experts on key issues, challenges and opportunities the IFRS adoption project unfolds.

This one-day workshop will take place in Taipei on August 3
